CLPOA 50th Anniversary Celebration 2012
Saturday, August 25 5-8:00 p.m.
Our CLPOA 50th Anniversary Celebration will be one of the biggest events ever experienced in the history of this Association and it truly reflects the members' wishes by responding to the answers and opinions submitted in the 2011 Survey.
Clearly, you wanted a BBQ on the lake and that's exactly what we will be having. At the beautiful Sunny Rock Bed and Breakfast location, the views of Canning Lake and Drag River are perfect….. and you can't find a much larger BBQ than the one owned by Wintergreen Maple Products.
To accommodate your wishes for a casual get-together, please bring a lawn chair for your comfort and dress according to the weather as the venue will be mainly outside yet comfortable indoors in the Pine Studio and verandah of Sunny Rock Bed and Breakfast too. Would you like a sip of wine or a cold beer as you chat with neighbours and friends? Then please bring your little cooler bag with your choice alcoholic beverage. Tea, coffee, water and pop will be available to enjoy also.
To purchase your "ticket" to this Event, complete the CLPOA 50th Anniversary Celebration form, enclosed with this newsletter (the form is also available at www.canninglake.ca to print). The "tickets" are $30.00 per person and the way it will work is that upon receipt of your form and cheque payment, your name will be added to a Master spreadsheet of attendees. As your name is entered onto the spreadsheet, a number will be attached to it (in numerical order by entry) and this number will become a "ticket" to be drawn for the door prize at the Event. This way, you do not need to worry about forgetting to bring your ticket. You will be welcomed to the event by a Registration Team who, by referencing the Master spreadsheet of "tickets", will provide you with a name tag and confirm your attendance.
Please contact your former friends and neighbours and invite them to attend by sharing the "ticket" purchase form. Act promptly send in your form and payment as space is limited to 200 people.
